I'm Miguel Valencia and I'm running for Washington State Senate in the 4th Legislative District. Washington state needs new leaders, not the same old corrupt politicians funded by large corporations, big pharma, and the oil industry. I’m running to unite the working class whether Republican, Democrat or Independent. I will be a family-first candidate by advocating for universal daycare, Pre-K, healthcare and extending our paid family leave to 20 weeks. I will support unions unabashedly to bargain for higher wages and benefits. I will work to get rid of corruption, corporate greed and install term limits. I don’t have to wonder what the middle class is going through because I am just a regular, working-class, veteran, family man, not a corrupt establishment politician. And you won’t have to wonder who I represent.

✓ Universal Daycare & Pre-K

Washington state should lead the country in true family issues. There is no better way to show that we care about our children than to relieve parents of the high burden of paying for daycare and pre-k.
✓ Unapologetic Support for Unions

When our Union workers do better we all do better. "Right to work laws" are really "right to work for less" laws. I will always stand by unions and support striking workers.
✓ Ending Corruption

Corruption and money in politics is one of the main reasons our politicians fail to serve the interests of the working class. We should reduce the amount of money a candidate can raise from corporations, put a 10-year ban on receiving gifts after leaving office, and pressure the state political parties to ban corporate contributions.
